Details

The smaller size of the classic Tanker Bag is just perfect.  Made in the same shape of the bag we all know and love, this version also comes with a removable black cross-body strap.  The exterior is a beautiful black suede, and is complimented well by the smooth black handles and trim.  It has a doctor bag frame closure with one snap.  It's fully lined in leather with a pocket too.  Shown in a few photos with the larger size for scale.

When April from The Backward Vendor first reached out to us, we knew it was a perfect match.  We have never seen such a creative and unique design studio that fabricates in a variety of mediums from leather to fabric and more.  Every piece is handcrafted in their London workshop with attention to detail.

The Backward Vendor does not rely on or look to current trends, we look to traditional craft, to traditional techniques, to handmade process and to design.
Our design concept is rooted in the everyday life; work, leisure, travel history, our world. We design and create quality handmade leather shoes, bags, garments and homeware using only raw and naturally dyed materials. Our collections are made with the greatest care; with the purpose of guiding, informing and introducing the art of handmade, and the perfect imperfections of leather. Our studio is situated in Hackney, London, primarily functioning as a showroom and leather workshop space.
