I want to purchase something online that is sold out - is it really sold out? Yes, all of our online inventory is accurate and up to date - so sorry about that!  If you are inquiring about an item that is out of stock on our website, it is out of stock.  If we receive returns for any item, the stock will be added back online.
Can I put something on hold? Unfortunately, we are not able to put pieces on hold online or in our brick and mortar shop.
What payment methods do you accept? We currently accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We do not accept payment via Paypal or Affirm. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
My credit card isn't working, can you help? First, please check to make sure that you have entered in the correct billing address and zipcode. If the zipcode doesn't match the information tied to your credit card, the transaction will not go though. If this doesn't work, we recommend calling your bank, as they might be flagging the transaction. Please confirm with them that you are trying to make the transaction.
Can I be added to a waitlist for items that are out of stock? We currently don't keep a waitlist, either electronically or written down in our shop, but this is a feature we are thinking about adding to our website in the future, please stay tuned!
Can I cancel my order or add a discount code retroactively? Unfortunately orders can not be canceled, changed, or discounted once they have been placed.  For more information, please read our shop policies.  We pack and ship orders very promptly as they come in and any requests as such will not always be seen by the people packing your order.  As such, please be sure you are ready to place your order.
Can I order online and pick up in store and not pay for shipping? Unfortunately we are no longer offering this checkout option. You can either shop in the store in person, or you can order online to have the items shipped to you. Unfortunately we don't have the shelf space and storage to hold orders for pick up. Thank you for your understanding.
I just purchased something online but I want to have my order shipped at a later date - can you hold my package? We can hold your parcel for 7 days after the order is placed, but then we will need to ship it out. Orders that are "held for shipping" are considered final sale and are not returnable.
I just placed my order and I'm so excited to get it! When will it arrive? We are currently shipping Monday - Friday via UPS or DHL. Orders placed after 2pm EST may not go out until the following working day. Working days do not include Saturday and Sunday. UPS Ground can take up to 7 days for the west coast, but to NYC it will usually arrive in 1-2 days. For international orders, we ship DHL or UPS and delivery is usually 3-9 working days. Shipping delays are out of our control once we hand the parcel to the carrier, so please be patient, your package is worth the wait :)
I'm having trouble getting my store credit code to work, can you help? Yes!  Please make sure you have your code from the email we sent you when your original return was received back at the shop.  Your store credit code will start with "Storecredit" and then be followed by a number and name.  Your RA# is not your store credit code. You will need to checkout with the same email address you placed the original order with.  Once you have this code, you will need to enter it into the "discount code" box on the right hand side of the screen at checkout and hit "apply".  Once you click apply, the discount code will be shown beneath the order total.  If the code is incorrect, it will not work, so be sure that you have the correct code.  Please be sure you click "apply" and then see the discount appear before completing the checkout process, otherwise the code will not be added.  Customers are responsible for holding onto their store credit codes, if this code is lost unfortunately a new one will not be issued, so please put your code in a special place :)
I'm going on a trip! Can you this get to me by tomorrow? Maybe! But please email us at info@rennes.us to confirm we can get your order to you on time. We offer UPS Overnight, 2nd Day Air, and DHL for international. Please contact us if you need your order by a specific date, otherwise we can not guarantee it will get to you before you leave.
I placed my order when I was on my trip. I'm home now but want to return what I ordered.  Can I return my order? Returns for full priced merchandise need to be postmarked and mailed back to our shop within four days of the first delivery attempt.  If you are within that time range, we are happy to take your return.  Unfortunately we can not accept returns outside of our return window.  We recommend placing orders when you are at home to receive them so you can try the pieces on or have them shipped to where you are currently.
Will I have to pay customs / duties / VAT on my package? Will you mark the item as a gift and declare a lower value? Duties and fees are NOT included in your order and you may have to pay them when your box arrives. Rennes has no way of knowing what that amount may be, please contact your customs office to find out how much you might owe.   We can not mark your box as a gift or declare a lower value, it is unlawful to do so.
I didn't know I had to pay duties, can I refuse delivery and return it? Unfortunately we are not able to accept returns because you do not want to pay the customs duties.
I'd like to order many pieces from your website but am unsure how they will fit me, do you offer pieces on approval? Unfortunately we are a small shop with limited stock and can not offer items on approval. If you have concerns about fit or anything like that, we are here to help and will give you all the measurements you need! Please email us at info@rennes.us.
Can I return the item I purchased on sale or with a discount code? Sorry, unfortunately all discounted merchandise is final sale and can not be returned.
How long is my store credit good for? Store credit is good for one year from the date of issue.  Please note customers are responsible for keeping track of and using their store credit.  Please use your store credit when you place your new order, credits are not able to be applied after the fact.
I want to collaborate!  Can we work on a project together? Rennes does not currently work with any social media influencers and we are not able to send out free clothing or goods.  Back in the good old days one used to just blog or post about things that they loved - if you truly love our things, please support small shops and make purchases :)
Can we hire you for a photo shoot or styling? We're all ears!  Email us at info@rennes.us.
Do you give a discount if I sign up for your mailing list? So sorry we currently do not offer this, though we'd love for you to sign up for our mailing list!  We send out information on new arrivals, sales, and events about 1-3 times a month depending on the season and how much fun stuff is going on!
Will you carry my line in your store? We are currently only interested in working with brands that are not stocked widely in the states and do not sell on larger shared website platforms (i.e. garmentory, farfetch, etc.)   If the brand already has an online shop and offers frequent discounts we will probably not be able to stock the line - so sorry!  We want to grow with brands who are interested in building a unique identity that fits well in the context of our shop.  If it sounds like your line fits this description, read on!
