General Shipping Information:
We ship worldwide via UPS and DHL. We are currently shipping Tuesday through Saturday via UPS (domestic and international) and DHL (international). Orders placed after 12pm EST on Saturday may not ship until the following Tuesday. Unfortunately, due to our carriers' policies, we do not guarantee *any* shipping times. Shipping costs are not refundable if items do not arrive by a certain date regardless of any overnight services chosen. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. We do our best to dispatch parcels within 1-2 business days, but this is not guaranteed, during busier times it may take 3 days to dispatch. Orders are not shipped on Sundays and Mondays.Time in Transit:
Time in transit can vary widely and specific service delivery days are not guaranteed. Please find a general guide here. Domestic Shipping for UPS Ground: East Coast~ 1-3 business days, Midwest~ 2-5 business days, West Coast ~5-8 business days.
International shipping times vary and are usually arriving in 3-8 business days. This timing does not include any delays in customs or delays in duty processing. If duties are not paid promptly, this may cause additional delivery delays.
Please note fulfillment times are not included in the time lines listed at checkout or our estimates of time in transit.
Duties and Taxes:
The full value and country of origin for items in your order are listed on customs forms. Duties, taxes, and VAT are not included in your purchase price or shipping cost. You may need to pay this when you receive your parcel, and the amount may vary from 9-40% of the total value of the parcel. We recommend getting in touch with your countries' customs office to confirm current tax rates for imports. rennes is not responsible for paying these costs. If you refuse to pay duties on your parcel and decline to receive your shipment, you will not receive a refund. If your parcel is returned to us, you will need to re-pay any shipping fees to have it sent back to you.Packaging:
Your order will come in a box or mailer with our specially designed signature packing tape, we like to keep it fun! There will also be a postcard with one of our photos on it. We do our best to protect your order in transit and occasionally we will need to put delicate items in plastic sleeves, such as a shearling coat. All of our parchment paper sleeves are made from recycled paper. If your order requires additional cushioning, we often use recycled and reused paper from returns and shipments from our designers. Though we want to make your parcel as fun to receive as possible, we will sometimes try to keep our packaging minimal to reduce packaging waste.Signature Required:
We currently do not ship orders with signature confirmation except for fine jewelry. Instead of signature confirmation, we insure all parcels. If you require signature confirmation on your order, please contact us prior to ordering so we can make a note of this, there may be an additional charge for this service. Rennes is not responsible for any parcels left on your doorstep when you are not home, please have your order shipped to a safe location.Address Changes:
Rennes ships to the shipping address you provide at checkout. If you have made an error in your address, please notify us right away via email at info@rennes.us and we will correct it if the parcel has not already left the shop. We are not responsible for any omissions made in your shipping address, such as an apartment number. We recommend double checking your address carefully as we can not intercept parcels once they have left our shop. If the parcel is returned to us, the parcel will be sent back at your expense.Combined Shipping:
If you are interested in adding a piece to your existing order, prior to it being packed or shipped, please email us directly so we can add it to the current invoice. Unfortunately due to new insurance coverage policies, we cannot combine multiple orders placed separately in one shipment due to coverage limitations placed on the order total. Thank you for your understanding!Tracking:
For your convenience, when your item has shipped you will be emailed a tracking number. We recommend checking on tracking updates often so you can be aware of the delivery date. Customers are responsible for managing and receiving their shipments. Rennes is not responsible for parcels where delivery has been attempted and the customer does not pick up their package at the post office, UPS store, UPS access point, or schedule re-delivery. In the event that your parcel is returned to us as a result of not picking it up, the item will be returned to you at your expense and all sales are final.Domestic & International Insurance:
All orders are fully insured.
In the unfortunate event that your parcel has become lost or damaged in transit, please contact us at info@rennes.us and we can help you sort this out. Please understand that the claims process through our insurance (provided by Shipsurance) can take time - sometimes up to 30-40 (domestic) or 50-60 (interational) days to process, we kindly ask for your patience in this as it is 100% out of our control. Refunds for loss will not be issued until the insurance claim has been paid to Rennes by Shipsurance. Fulfillment of any claim is at Shipsurances' discretion. Parcels that are marked as delivered but are missing are not usually eligible for insurance coverage, so please make sure to have your items shipped to safe location. Rennes is not responsible for items stolen from your stoop, porch, or lobby. Once your order has been marked as delivered, Rennes LLC is released from all liability. Once parcels leave our shop, we have no control over the speed they arrive or the loss or damage that may occur in transit.
In the event of your purchase being damaged, please do not dispose of any packaging materials prior to the claim being fully submitted. During the claims process you may be asked for the following: photos of the damage, photos of the packing materials, a repair estimate for the damaged goods, and signing and completing an affidavit.
