We love this coat for the smocking along the back; it adds a special detail that will make this piece a favorite of yours for years to come.  The fabric is a light to medium weight natural linen that will only look nicer with wear and use.  There are three lacquered off white buttons up the front and side pockets.  This style in unlined.

About Arts & Science

Arts & Science was founded by Sonya Park in 2003 with the designer's goal of opening a small shop selling only the things she truly loved.  Originally she brought in antique pieces of furniture and clothing sourced from Europe.  She was inspired by many vintage clothing pieces and began her clothing line based around some of these simple and classic hard-to-find pieces.  Arts & Science currently has multiple shops throughout Japan, each with a slightly different focus from clothing to food to hand-crafted wears.
