A modern take on a traditional Ukrainian folk garment, the plakhta.   A plakhta is traditionally a layered skirt or skirt-belt, similar to an apron.  The designer imagines this version can be worn layered over other pieces, and worn off to the side to give the appearance of a pants or a skirt with two different fabrics.  It also looks wonderful layered over organza pieces.  The embroidery is truly stunning.

Delegan is a Ukrainian women's clothing brand founded in 2022. These are elegant clothes with a focus on architectural cuts and clear silhouettes that transcend trends and time. A significant number of products are made by hand using rare techniques of Ukrainian craftsmen. In each image, a carefully thought-out combination of details of the Ukrainian avant-garde and universal classical style, the combination of which creates a unique aesthetic of the brand. Oksana Delegan is the founder of the brand, creates things for a determined, self-sufficient and ambitious woman who supports conscious consumption and advocates the principle of "less is better".
