This bag is made from a tan suede and has vegetable tanned straps and closure.  It is fully lined in leather as well.  If you were hoping that a shoulder bag would become available in the Tanker style, you are in luck.  The extra long straps make it ideal for carrying around town.

When April from The Backward Vendor first reached out to us, we knew it was a perfect match.  We have never seen such a creative and unique design studio that fabricates in a variety of mediums from leather to fabric and more.  Every piece is handcrafted in their London workshop with attention to detail.

The Backward Vendor does not rely on or look to current trends, we look to traditional craft, to traditional techniques, to handmade process and to design.
Our design concept is rooted in the everyday life; work, leisure, travel history, our world. We design and create quality handmade leather shoes, bags, garments and homeware using only raw and naturally dyed materials. Our collections are made with the greatest care; with the purpose of guiding, informing and introducing the art of handmade, and the perfect imperfections of leather. Our studio is situated in Hackney, London, primarily functioning as a showroom and leather workshop space.
