We love the idea of wearing shorts in the winter layered with tights.  Made from a crushed black velvet, these flowing knee length shorts have really interesting details.  The top part of the shorts is designed to be folded over and has a scrolling ribbon trim along the edge that adds for an unexpected twist.  There is a back adjuster tab to use as needed to change the fit, and there are belt loops too.  There are side and back pockets.  Pair it with the matching jacket for a full winter look.
