If there were awards for jackets and coats, this would win for the most innovative!  Where do we start?  Made from a very soft medium blue leather, this jacket is so unique.  It has contrast hand-stitched natural buttons up the front and on the sleeve cuffs and is lined in a cream cotton.  The jacket is lightly padded for extra warmth.  There is one front 3D chest pocket with a button closure.  There is a hidden magnet closure near the puffed collar for extra reinforcement, along with a circular tab on the back collar to hang your coat.  This piece is a work of art and will make anyone who owns it very happy for years to come!

When April from The Backward Vendor first reached out to us, we knew it was a perfect match.  We have never seen such a creative and unique design studio that fabricates in a variety of mediums from leather to fabric and more.  Every piece is handcrafted in their London workshop with attention to detail.

The Backward Vendor does not rely on or look to current trends, we look to traditional craft, to traditional techniques, to handmade process and to design.
Our design concept is rooted in the everyday life; work, leisure, travel history, our world. We design and create quality handmade leather shoes, bags, garments and homeware using only raw and naturally dyed materials. Our collections are made with the greatest care; with the purpose of guiding, informing and introducing the art of handmade, and the perfect imperfections of leather. Our studio is situated in Hackney, London, primarily functioning as a showroom and leather workshop space.
