This bag will carry absolutely everything you need for the day, and beyond.  The silhouette is striking and unusual - as the body of the bag is quite wide and the height a bit on the shorter side, making the proportions very unique.  The handles are tall and can fit over the shoulder or be carried in the hand.  There is a unique drawstring style closure with sculptural leather toggles, and extra security of hidden magnets under the flap and two snaps.  There is an interior pocket.  The handles, flap, and bottom of the bag are fully leather, while the center of the bag is canvas.

When April from The Backward Vendor first reached out to us, we knew it was a perfect match.  We have never seen such a creative and unique design studio that fabricates in a variety of mediums from leather to fabric and more.  Every piece is handcrafted in their London workshop with attention to detail.

The Backward Vendor does not rely on or look to current trends, we look to traditional craft, to traditional techniques, to handmade process and to design.
Our design concept is rooted in the everyday life; work, leisure, travel history, our world. We design and create quality handmade leather shoes, bags, garments and homeware using only raw and naturally dyed materials. Our collections are made with the greatest care; with the purpose of guiding, informing and introducing the art of handmade, and the perfect imperfections of leather. Our studio is situated in Hackney, London, primarily functioning as a showroom and leather workshop space.
